Our Origin
The Precious Blood Spirituality Institute was established in 2021 through a partnership with religious institutes devoted to the Precious Blood of Jesus: The Adorers of the Blood of Christ, The Sisters of the Precious Blood, The Sisters of the Most Precious Blood, and the Missionaries of the Precious Blood. Our mission is rooted in the Precious Blood of Jesus, the saving blood that recognizes the dignity of God's mercy found within every human person.
The Precious Blood Spirituality Institute brings our mission to life by:

Encouraging collaborative efforts that promote the spirituality of our member communities.

Offering opportunities to foster relationships.

Fostering the continued development of Precious Blood Spirituality through the Robert J. Schreiter Institute of Precious Blood Spirituality to develop a theological perspective that informs our spirituality.

Becoming Pilgrims of Hope in an Age of Fear
Pope Francis has declared 2025 a Jubilee Year with the theme, "Pilgrims of Hope," The Pope writes "Christian hope does not deceive or disappoint because it is grounded in the certainty that nothing and no one may ever separate us from God's love."
To be a Pilgrim of Hope in these times for many is challenging and fearful. In his recent book "Fear and Faith - Hope and Wholeness in a Fractured World," Dan Horan explores the subject of fear and the unique opportunity available for people of faith. Join us for a conversation as we disuss how we, on our pilgrimages, can cultivate that does not succumb to fear and how to embrace hope in challenging times.

As we prepare to gather in Rome in July 2025 to celebrate the Jubilee Year as a Precious Blood Family, the organizing committee has created monthly prayer services so we can gather in prayer at this special time in anticipation of our pilgrimage to Rome.
